Litter Cozies, Site-specific Fiber Installation, 2015
The Litter Cozy images document a site-specific fiber-based intervention project that attempts to address alcoholism, shelter, and homelessness with hand-made quilted and crocheted objects that are often synonymous with the home. Using litter, I am able to call attention to the mass rate of homelessness within our nearby environment in a way that critiques societal depictions of homelessness while not physically exploiting the individuals who are suffering under our current system.
